August 22nd

Featuring the likes of Grizzly Bear, Dent May and The War on Drugs.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard latest album, ‘Sketches of Brunswick East’ which is also a collaboration with Mild High Club, finally dropped last week. The album is funky, whimsical and perfect for pretending you’re in a 70s cop drama. Tennis have us grooving this morning with their new track ‘No Exit’. Hello, Stevie Nicks! Finally, LCD Soundsystem’s new single, ‘tonite’ brings us some vintage LCD. It ticks off all the boxes: driving beats, James Murphy talk-singing about getting older, all floating on top of a giant crescendo.

New artist forecast: Caro are one of the most interesting new bands out there right now. Hailing from Leeds, their music takes you on a journey beginning with St. Vincent-inspired guitar cuts, moving in to a gorgeous whirl of picking, before bringing it all home again. Get it, boys.
